Queue the Q Commons

Last week we held The Advance at Mt. Zion Baptist Church- which was an awesome time of strategy to advance the Gospel in our cities, and we are excited to share a little bit from that event with you. However, we want you to know about another event called Q Commons we will be hosting next Thursday, October 13th, 7pm at 415 Westlake.

Q is kind of like TED Talks for a Christian audience, attempting to push the boundaries by asking questions that many wrestle with locally, nationally and globally. Q aligns with our LUTC model in our attempt to engage our cities, culture and society- representing Christ and his love for people.

There will be national speakers including hip-hop artist Lecrae, author and apologist Ravi Zacharias and authors and political commentators Kirsten Powers and Ross Douthat. The topics will range from racial reconciliation to discussion around political engagement during this election season.

We will also have some great local speakers that will include Scott Ellis of World Relief, Matt Kaemingk of Christ in Cascade and Clarence Presley-Brown.

This Q Commons is going to be challenging, thought-provoking and engaging. We hope that you will join the conversation and attend. You can register here.
