Light Up the City - Radio

One of our favorite things about the Light Up the City network, is the opportunity to tell stories about all the things we see God doing around the greater Seattle region. There is so much to tell, that we cannot possibly keep up with it all. John 21:25 says, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” Don’t you wish you could get your hands on a few of those never written books? Well, we are doing our part to tell some of the stories that we see Jesus doing through his Spirit and through the Church in the Greater Seattle region.

We are happy to announce that in addition to our regular blog posts, Nathan and I will be provide a podcast, which will also be featured on the radio. You will be able to listen to the faithful, present, local voices that we get to hear on a regular basis. This all started with a trip to KGNW studios (AM 820) to see if there was a way we could use their studios to record the podcast… before we knew it, we are not just using their studios, but they are going to play our weekly podcast live on the air!!!

So this Sunday, July 10th, our very first Light Up the City program will air from 11:30 -12:00 on KGNW, AM 820. While we have no idea what we are doing, we do know that bearing witness to the coming kingdom of God is something we are all called to do as Christians, and we would like to help you do that through this new platform!

So tune in on your way home from Church, and if there is a great story of God at work through the local Church in the city. Tell us about it, maybe it will become a broadcast!
