One Night, One Prayer
Matthew 18:20 promises, “For where two or three have gathered together in My Name, I am there in their midst.” If it takes only two or three to gather in Christ’s Name for Him to be present, how much more so will He be present when an entire nation gathers together in His name?
Our country’s National Day of Prayer is in two weeks on Thursday, May 7. This is the 64th annual National Day of Prayer, and with it comes an opportunity to ask for the Lord’s healing and renewing power to be made manifest throughout our nation and throughout all nations.
The national theme for this year’s day of prayer is “Lord, Hear Our Cry,” based out of 1 Kings 8:28, which says, “Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.” It is in this prayer that we want to join together with those all across not only Seattle, but our entire nation, to ask our Creator that all people place their faith in Him, who rules over all men and all authority.
We want to invite you to participate in National Day of Prayer within your community at one of the locations all around the city. There are gatherings happening in many surrounding parts of the city, and here are a few of them that are available to attend:

National Day of Prayer is a special day for our country in which we are all unified together in prayer, going humbly to our Creator to ask for His guidance, His grace and His coming. We want to ask you to invite your congregations to participate in this year’s day of prayer and to begin to pray for this special day that is about to take place around our country. If there is not a prayer location happening in your city, should there be? Be bold in prayer, and pray together. We look forward to hearing and seeing how God moves in the hearts of our leaders and our people.
