Join Us in Praying for Our Easter Services
Easter has been a powerful day to all people since that first one more than 2,000 years ago. It was on that day that Jesus conquered death, hell was defeated and humanity was given the hope of Eternal Life through the death and resurrection of God Himself. Each day now brings a chance for redemption, and every Easter a chance to reflect upon the magnitude of the Risen Christ. Though there have been many Easters since that first one, we are praying that this Easter, like others past, is special for you and your congregation. Easter Sunday gives a unique opportunity to the Church to bring the Gospel to our families, neighborhoods and cities. There is no doubt that God is going to do some incredible work within the hearts of our city this week. We are praying for you and your church this week and invite you to join us in praying for churches across King County.
To encourage pastors as they prepared for this unique day, we invited hundreds of pastors from around the greater Seattle area for a lunch with Evangelist Luis Palau. Luis encouraged pastors with the joy of the gospel, and challenged church leaders to present the Gospel and encourage a response; whether it be for salvation, baptism or something else. We hadover 70 different churches present! As a follow up from our event, we are looking forward to hearing from as many Seattle area churches as possible about God’s activity on Easter. After collecting this info, we want to tell the story of all God did on Easter in King County this year, and we need your help. We will be sending out a quick survey next week to gather the story of what God did in your congregation on Easter. We will also post a link to the survey here next week for those not on our email lists. We are looking forward to telling the greater story of how God moved through King County this weekend. If you were unable to attend the event, here is a video of Luis’s presentation.
