The Praying Church

Welcome all to the Light Up the City website! On this site you will see what cities in Greater Seattle who have committed to pray together for the 40-Days of Prayer from April 30-June 8, 2014. Between the congregations committed to pray in the Greater Seattle area and congregations all throughout WA and OR, there are literally hundreds of congregations committed to pray together as One Church for 40-Days. They are all asking, "What's God's heart for our city?" and expecting God to speak.

To help all these congregations in their prayers and unified petitions, a 40-Day Prayer Guide has been created by them, for them. It is a compilation of original devotions from contributors from all around WA and OR. The guide can be viewed/downloaded at our Resource page or you can return each day to this blog as there will be a new post everyday from April 30 - June 8.
