Orphan Care Seminar

You can sure learn a lot around our LUTC headquarters office. Like what I overheard this morning between Mandy and Dawn: not only will the Orphan Care Seminar be extremely encouraging and informative with the likes of special guest speaker Jason Johnson of Children's Alliance For Orphans, but also there will be a CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST (mmmm...continental) provided as well! Man, the things you learn 'round here! Want more information about the event or a link to register? You're welcome!

Prayer Movement

February 2nd, about 60 pastors from around the State gathered for a time of prayer at North Sound Church in Edmonds. The 5 hour time focused on prayer for our church leaders, prayer for body of Christ, prayer for our nation and its leaders, and prayer for one another. The conversation was engaging and informative- we appreciate their personal stories and insight and hope you will find it encouraging as well. If you miss us on the radio, you can listen in to all of our shows streaming on our website, or you can subscribe on your favorite podcast website, including Soundcloud and iTunes.

Foster Care Seminar

Our new Foster Support Faith Alliance is bringing together churches to engage the foster care system, from South Seattle all the way up through Smokey Point, and soon to span down to South King County, as well. Local churches are gathering, across denominational lines, to meet with other churches in their community, as well as foster support agencies and local Children’s Administration representatives, to find out how they can best support the foster care system in their neighborhoods. Did you know that foster care affects homelessness, incarceration and sex trafficking? If your church is seeking an up-stream, preventative approach to addressing these issues, you need look no further than th
